Comedy taught me a lot about getting messages across. It taught me about pace, about energy, about delivering the jokes as succinctly as possible. It taught me about shaping the whole so that every component contributed to the core message. It taught me to start with a bang and finish with an even bigger bang; to weave a convoluted path which miraculously concluded in a place which brought you back to the beginning again and from which you could see the path you had just taken.
It taught me to use stories that touched people’s lives, that they

could identify with and say to themselves “yes, that happened to me!”
One of the greatest things you can do in life is to mint an idea in the furnace of someones mind. This idea they can then pocket, still hot, and later study in detail, bite on its authenticity and imagine its many possibilities of investment.
This is the currency I offer in the transactions of
my presentation.
Book me as a keynote speaker, and your audience will leave the auditorium a good deal richer for it.

KEYNOTE SPEAKING

There is nothing more powerful than a familiar story that comes at you from a different angle. It’s the same message but the different wrapper makes you look more closely at it. Have you ever noticed that a lot of the hard-to-solve problems in science were eventually cracked by people who came from outside of that particular field of expertise?
That happens because they look with a fresh pair of eyes, they
assume nothing, so they see things the ‘experts’ had missed.

My background is in the creative industries - film, music, performance. I like to be creative with everything I do, including speaking. That’s why I use a wide variety of techniques to get my message across.
