It seems a certain doughnut company has been busy elsewhere.

Actually, as a side-note, the thing that&#039;s really harmful about doughnuts isn&#039;t the fat, it&#039;s the cocktail of carbohydrates (carbs turn into body fat more easily that dietary fat does).  Frosted doughnuts are basically bread with extra sugar, coated in more sugar.

Basically what this means is that when the sugar hits your stomach, you produce a crapload of insulin.  This puts your body into &quot;don&#039;t burn fat, store it!&quot; mode for the next few hours ...while it digests the remaining carbs in the doughnut.

Frankly, it&#039;s pretty much a perfect recipe for obesity and type II diabetes.</description>
