Poetry and comedy, Dave.

OK, I am being somewhat facetious in my interpretation but it is still valid. In a way, it demonstrates the intricate complexity of all things; I make a joke out of the poetry, which in turn, adds a new dimension to the poetry and grows the story. I had some fun too.

Hi Ivor: You should read more Loren Eiseley. He talks about complexity and serendipity and about how interventions like the starfish guy, whether intentional or accidental, enable all-life-on-Earth to achieve higher levels of resilience and evolution. We're not talking about a sick starfish bailout here, just a tweaking in one little place for a short time. Understanding complex systems takes more than critical thinking. It requires, perhaps, poetry as well. :-)
